Rev. Teresa Simmons, Financial Secretary DWIM. She is a member and First Lady of Gethsemane Baptist Church, Suffolk, VA. At Gethsemane she is a member of The Deaconess Ministry, The Christian Education and Recreation Ministry and the Choir Director for the Music Ministry. The scripture most dear to her heart is Isaiah 6:8 “Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.” Rev. Simmons is married to Rev. Dr. Ernest S. Simmons, Jr. pastor of Gethsemane Baptist Church. Together they have five children, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren
